Try Incogni

Quick answer: Incogni is paid from $95.88/year (Standard), with no free plan. Unlimited is $179.88/year and the family plans $191.88 and $275.88. The checkout showed a $95.88 renewal and $0.00 sales tax for a New York ZIP code. Prices verified on 10/08/2026 on Incogni's site.

Plans and pricing

All four plans are billed annually by default. The monthly figures on Incogni’s pricing page are the annual price divided by 12, and every plan has a 30-day money-back guarantee on the first purchase.

Which plan is right for you

  • One person, people-search and marketing brokers only: Standard at $95.88/year. It covers every broker on Incogni’s published list.
  • One person who also shows up on other sites: Unlimited at $179.88/year. It adds custom removal requests, where you send links to pages that show your data, and phone support.
  • A household: Family at $191.88/year covers you and up to four more adults on Standard. Family Unlimited at $275.88/year gives all five the Unlimited features.

Family members must be 18 or older and join by an invitation link, per the terms. Two people on Standard would pay $191.76 separately, so Family costs about the same for two and less for three or more.

There’s no free plan — here’s the cheapest way in

Incogni has no free plan or trial. The cheapest way in is Standard billed annually at $95.88, with the 30-day refund window as your trial period. A student discount of 55% on annual plans runs through Student Beans, and subscribers’ referral links give 58% off annual plans. The free scan and the discounts are covered on the Incogni free scan and coupons page.

What you’ll actually pay at checkout

On 10/08/2026 the Standard annual checkout showed $95.88, a struck-through $191.76, and a $0.00 sales tax line for New York 10001. The total was $95.88. I got the same $0.00 tax line for Texas 78701, Washington 98101, Pennsylvania 19103, California 94103 and Ohio 43215.

The renewal amount appears once you open a payment method: “You’ll be charged $95.88 for a 12 - month subscription. It will automatically renew for the same duration at $95.88 (price may change).” There’s no checkbox for auto-renewal. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Payment methods were PayPal, Apple Pay and Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover cards.

What’s in the plan (and what isn’t)

  • Every plan: requests to the brokers on Incogni’s published list, 420 entries on 10/08/2026, repeated over time, plus monthly progress reports.
  • Up to three emails, home addresses or phone numbers per account, per the terms.
  • Unlimited and Family Unlimited: custom removal requests and live phone support.
  • Family plans: up to five members in total, each 18 or older.
  • Not included on any plan: brokers that accept only mail or phone requests, and legal action against brokers that refuse.

Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades start at the next billing cycle, per the terms.

How to cancel Incogni

I couldn’t reach the cancellation screen, because Incogni opens an account only after payment. These are the steps from Incogni’s help center, updated 10/07/2026:

  1. Log in to your Incogni account and click your email address in the top right. On mobile, tap the profile icon.
  2. Click “Profile.”
  3. Open the “Subscription & billing” tab on the left.
  4. Click “Manage billing” next to your plan name.
  5. Select “Cancel subscription” and follow the steps on screen.

You can also cancel through support. Canceling stops the next charge, and you keep the service until the paid period ends. If you bought Incogni through NordVPN, Coveron or Surfshark, you cancel with them, not with Incogni.

Deleting your account is a separate request to support. It ends the subscription without refunding the unused time, per the help center.

Refund policy

Incogni offers a refund within 30 days after the initial purchase, and the terms updated 09/14/2026 allow “one (1) refund” per customer. You ask support for it. Renewed subscriptions aren’t refundable under the guarantee “unless applicable law provides otherwise.” After 30 days, Incogni may give a prorated refund at its discretion if the service was unusable and you tried to contact them. I didn’t request a refund, so I can’t say how long it takes.

Other details for U.S. subscribers

What personal data they ask for — and how to delete it

The checkout asks for an email, country, state and ZIP code. Inside the account, the service needs your full name, address, date of birth and, for U.S. customers, a phone number. Incogni doesn’t ask for a Social Security number. Account deletion goes through support.

Who can sign up (U.S. only, state limits, age)

U.S. residents including Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands can sign up, along with the UK, the EU and Canada. You must be 18 or older. I found no excluded states.

Support: channels and hours (ET)

Email form with a reply “within 24 hours,” chat for subscribers and phone on the Unlimited plans. No hours in ET are published.

What we saw inside the account

I couldn’t open an account without paying, so there’s nothing from inside it here. The Incogni review covers the free scanner and what the help center says about the dashboard.

Is Incogni worth paying for?

At $95.88/year with the renewal price on screen and no tax added in my test, Standard is a clear price for what it lists: requests to 420 brokers, repeated over time. Pay for Unlimited only if you already know your data sits on sites outside that list. Compare it with other services on the best data removal services page.

FAQ

How much does Incogni cost per year?

On 10/08/2026, billed annually: Standard $95.88, Unlimited $179.88, Family $191.88 and Family Unlimited $275.88. That is $7.99, $14.99, $15.99 and $22.99 a month. Paying month to month doubles the rate, so Standard becomes $15.98 a month.

Does Incogni charge sales tax?

Not in my test. On 10/08/2026 the checkout showed a $0.00 sales tax line for New York 10001, Texas 78701, Washington 98101, Pennsylvania 19103, California 94103 and Ohio 43215. The pricing page still says sales tax may apply, so check the total for your ZIP code.

What's Incogni's renewal price?

For Standard billed annually, the checkout said it renews "for the same duration at $95.88 (price may change)." The terms say Incogni will tell you about a new price in advance. I didn't check the renewal line for the other plans.

Does Incogni auto-renew?

Yes, and there's no checkbox for it at checkout. The terms say entering your payment details means you agree to automatic renewal. You can turn it off in your profile under "Subscription & billing" or through support.

Can I get a refund from Incogni?

Within 30 days of your first purchase, yes, once per customer. Renewals aren't covered by the guarantee unless the law requires it, and deleting your account doesn't refund unused time. Subscriptions bought through Surfshark or NordVPN are refunded by them.

How do I cancel Incogni?

Per the help center: click your email in the top right, then "Profile," "Subscription & billing," "Manage billing" and "Cancel subscription." You keep access until the paid period ends. Canceling doesn't refund you by itself.

What's the difference between Incogni Standard and Unlimited?

Both send requests to the same 420+ brokers. Unlimited adds custom removal requests for other sites, where the pricing page claims "3,000+ additional sites," and live phone support. It costs $179.88/year against $95.88 for Standard.
