Prices verified on 10/08/2026 on Incogni’s and Optery’s sites.
Price: what each costs in the first year and after
Optery wins on the entry price. Free Basic costs nothing and needs no card, and Core is $39/year. Incogni’s cheapest option is Standard at $95.88/year, or $15.98 month to month.
The renewal is clearer at Incogni. Its checkout printed “renew for the same duration at $95.88 (price may change)” before the payment button. Optery’s Core checkout showed no total, tax or renewal price before a card was entered, and its terms say plans renew at the then-current non-promotional rate. Full tables are on the Incogni pricing page and the Optery pricing page.
Coverage: which brokers each one handles
Optery publishes the longer list. This site counted 944 unique domains on it on 10/08/2026, against 417 on Incogni’s list. The catch is how Optery splits the list by plan. Core covers 152 named sites, or 380 with what Optery calls Expanded Reach. Incogni sends requests to its whole list on every plan.
The difference shows on the big people-search sites. Incogni Standard covers Whitepages, Spokeo, FastPeopleSearch and TruePeopleSearch. Optery lists Whitepages, Intelius and TruthFinder only on Ultimate at $249/year. Neither Incogni’s list nor Optery’s lower plans include Intelius. The method and all counts are in the Data Removal Coverage Index.
Trying before you pay
Optery lets you see results first. Free Basic scanned brokers and showed matches with screenshots, and the first scan took about 25 minutes on 10/08/2026. You send the opt-outs yourself until you upgrade.
Incogni has no account without payment. Its free scanner asks for an email and a name, shows one result screen and keeps nothing after 15 minutes. The trial, in effect, is the 30-day refund. More on that is on the Incogni free scan page.
Personal data and account deletion
Incogni asks for more. It needs your name, address and date of birth, and a phone number for U.S. customers. Optery asked for a name, city, state, birth year and email at sign-up. Neither asks for a Social Security number.
Deleting the account is easier at Optery: a button in the account and the word “DELETE.” Incogni’s help center says to contact support.
Support
Optery’s chat answered this site’s standard question in about 20 minutes on 10/08/2026. Incogni’s contact form was behind a Cloudflare check, so the question went by email; the ticket was acknowledged right away and the reply is still pending. Incogni offers phone support only on Unlimited plans.
