Privacy Policy

Effective 10/08/2026. This policy covers vettedprivacy.com and nothing else. It is written in plain language on purpose.

Who’s responsible

The site is run by Daria Klochko. Questions about this policy and requests about your data go through the contact page.

What we collect and why

The short version: the site sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses, and has no accounts. Here is everything it collects.

Cloudflare Web Analytics works without cookies and without client-side state, per Cloudflare’s documentation. The site does not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, heat maps, session recordings or social buttons.

The /go/ click log records the link’s name, for example optery-top, the time, the page the click came from, and the country and state Cloudflare derives from the connection. It does not record the IP address. It can’t tell two clicks from the same person apart.

Cookies

None. The site sets no cookies and no local storage, so there is no cookie banner. If that changes, this page will say what was added and why, and a banner with equal “Accept” and “Reject” choices will appear before anything loads.

When you click an affiliate link, you leave this site. The vendor or its affiliate network may set a cookie on the vendor’s site to attribute the sale. That cookie is set by them on their domain under their privacy policy, not by us. How to tell which links are affiliate links is explained on the affiliate disclosure page.

Third-party sites

Reviews link to vendors, data brokers’ opt-out forms, regulators and public records. Those sites have their own policies. Screenshots on this site are taken from test accounts opened with test data, and any personal data visible in them is blurred before publication.

Your rights under CCPA/CPRA

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you the right to know what personal information a business collects about you, to request its deletion, to request its correction, and to opt out of its sale or sharing.

This site does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The analytics data above is not linked to you, and the click log has nothing that identifies you. The only personal information the site holds is an email address if you subscribed or wrote to us.

To exercise a right, write to us through the contact page with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and answer within 45 days. We may ask you to confirm the email address the request concerns, and nothing more. We don’t treat you differently for making a request.

Residents of other states with privacy laws, such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and Oregon, can make the same requests the same way.

Children

The site is for adults in the U.S. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a minor has subscribed to the newsletter, email us and the address will be removed.

Security

The site is static and served over HTTPS. The click log and the subscriber list are stored with the providers named above, protected by their access controls. There is no user database to breach.

Changes

When this policy changes, the “Updated” date at the bottom changes and the changed section is marked for 30 days. Older versions are not published; if you need one, ask by email.
