Quick answer: Optery is the strongest Incogni alternative on this site, 8.8/10 against Incogni's 7.6. Its Free Basic shows your matches without a card, and Core costs $39/year. If Whitepages, Intelius or TruthFinder list you, OneRep (7.8/10) covered 15 of our 16 tracked people-search sites without Optery's $249 plan. All checked 10/08/2026.

Why people look for an Incogni alternative

These are the reasons that come up, each backed by Incogni’s own pages or owner reviews read on 10/08/2026:

  • No free plan or trial. Incogni creates the account at payment. Its only free piece is a one-off scan.
  • Gaps on big people-search sites. BeenVerified, Intelius, TruthFinder, Instant Checkmate, Radaris and ClustrMaps weren’t on Incogni’s list.
  • Account deletion through support only. There’s no delete button, per Incogni’s help center.
  • Spam didn’t drop for some owners. On Trustpilot and the App Store, 37 owner reviews said spam stayed the same or rose after signing up, while 10 others said it fell. I didn’t verify each case.

Optery: the highest score and a free start

Optery’s Free Basic plan is the only real free plan here. It asked for no card, scanned brokers, and showed matches with screenshots on 10/08/2026. You send the opt-outs yourself until you upgrade, and Core costs $39/year.

Its published list is long, 944 unique domains, and it covered 13 of our 16 people-search sites. You can delete the account yourself by typing “DELETE.”

Where it falls short: Core covers 152 named sites. Whitepages, Intelius and TruthFinder are on Ultimate only, at $249/year. The checkout showed no total, tax or renewal before a card. The side-by-side is on the Incogni vs Optery page.

OneRep: the closest match with wider people-search coverage

OneRep scans 314 people-search sites, sends opt-out requests and rescans monthly. Its Pro plans add 559 non-public brokers and custom requests. Individual cost $99.95/year on 10/08/2026, and the checkout printed the charge date and the $99.95 renewal before payment, the same kind of clarity Incogni gives.

It covered 15 of the 16 people-search sites this site tracks, against 10 for Incogni. A free account opened with an email showed scan matches, and its chat answered our question in under 2 minutes.

Where it falls short: the trial needs a card, and account deletion is by email or phone, as with Incogni. Full details are in the OneRep review.

DeleteMe: the longest published list

DeleteMe, run by Abine, Inc., has its staff send opt-out requests and sends a privacy report every three months. Its published list counted to 957 unique domains on 10/08/2026, more than twice Incogni’s 417. Standard includes 40 custom requests a year.

Support was the fastest of any service this site asked that day: a human replied to our email in about 6 minutes. Phone and chat run Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET.

Where it falls short: $129/year for one person, no free plan, and the renewal amount wasn’t shown before payment. The terms say it renews at the “current or full retail rate.”

Aura: if you also want identity theft protection

Aura bundles data broker removal with 3-bureau credit monitoring, $1M identity theft insurance per adult, antivirus, a VPN and a password manager. Individual was $144 for the first year on 10/08/2026, with a 14-day trial.

Where it falls short: Aura claimed “425+” brokers but didn’t publish the list. The renewal price wasn’t shown before payment, and refunds on annual plans are by phone. Compare it on the Incogni vs Aura page.

If you stay with Incogni

Incogni scores 7.6/10 and showed the clearest checkout of this group: a $95.88 renewal and a $0.00 tax line before payment. If you’re on one of the six people-search sites it doesn’t cover, opt out of those yourself. Our TruthFinder opt-out guide and BeenVerified opt-out guide walk through two of them. The Incogni review has the full picture.

Verdict

Optery is the alternative to try first. It scored 8.8 against Incogni’s 7.6, its free plan shows your matches before you pay, and Core costs $39/year. The catch is coverage: Whitepages, Intelius and TruthFinder sit only in Optery’s $249 Ultimate plan.

If those sites list you, OneRep is the better buy. It scored 7.8, covered 15 of our 16 people-search sites and showed its renewal price at checkout, like Incogni does. Pick DeleteMe if the length of the broker list matters most to you. The full ranking is on the best data removal services page.
