Quick answer: Cloaked costs $119.99 a year for one person on its pricing page, or $14.99 a month, with no free plan. On 10/16/2026 the checkout asked $99.99 for the year, $149.99 for Couple and $249.99 for Family. It showed no tax line and no renewal price. Prices verified on 10/16/2026 on Cloaked's site.
Plans and pricing
The prices below are what Cloaked’s pricing page showed in USD with “Annual” selected on 10/16/2026. Cloaked shows a monthly figure but bills the year upfront. All three plans have the same features and differ only in how many people they cover. The checkout charged less for a year that same day, as the notes in the table show.
| Plan | Per month, billed annually (USD) | Per year (USD) | What's included | Try |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Individual“Billed at $119.99 per year” on the pricing page. Checkout on 10/16/2026 charged $99.99 for the year (crossed-out $124.99); renewal price not shown | $9.99 | $119.99 | Every feature for one person | See Individual |
| CoupleYou + 1. Checkout on 10/16/2026: $149.99 for the year (crossed-out $187.49) | $14.99 | $174.99 | Every feature for you and one more person | See Couple |
| FamilyYou + 3. Checkout on 10/16/2026: $249.99 for the year (crossed-out $312.49) | $24.99 | $299.99 | Every feature for you and three more people | See Family |
- Paying month to month instead of yearly costs more: $179.88 a year at the monthly rate vs $119.99 billed annually.
- Renewal price: not shown before payment on Cloaked's checkout as of the last check — see the review.
Paying month to month instead of yearly: Individual $14.99 a month, Couple $19.99, Family $29.99. The checkout charged the same monthly amounts.
- First year: $99.99 at checkout for Individual on 10/16/2026, against $119.99 on the pricing page. The checkout put it next to a crossed-out $124.99.
- Renewal: renewal price not shown before payment, and not in the terms either.
- Sales tax: no tax line at checkout. The terms say charges include applicable taxes where the law requires.
- Auto-renew: no auto-renewal sentence on the pricing page, checkout or terms. The plan cards say “Cancel anytime.”

Which plan is right for you
- One person: Individual, $99.99 for a year at checkout on 10/16/2026, or $14.99 a month. Yearly costs less than seven months of monthly billing.
- Two people: Couple, $149.99 a year at checkout. It’s the only way to get removals for a partner’s records, the help center says.
- A household of up to four: Family, $249.99 a year at checkout, about $62.50 per person.
- Only aliases, or only virtual cards: there’s no cheaper plan for one feature. The help center says Cloaked doesn’t give “partial refunds based on the usage of individual features.”
There’s no free plan — here’s the cheapest way in
Cloaked has no free plan, and I found no trial on the pricing page or at checkout on 10/16/2026. The cheapest way in is Individual monthly at $14.99, which you can cancel before the next month.
The free scan at buy.cloaked.com shows where your phone number appears but doesn’t remove anything, and it needs an SMS code.
The App Store listing showed several in-app prices on 10/08/2026, among them a “Cloaked Annual” at $95.99. Which one a new user sees in the app, I don’t know. The full Cloaked review covers the scan and the features.
What you’ll actually pay at checkout
On 10/16/2026 I opened my.cloaked.com/checkout, chose each plan, set the country to the United States and the ZIP to 10001, and stopped at the card fields. The total sat under the card form before any card details went in.
- Individual, yearly: “$124.99 $99.99 due today.” Couple yearly was $187.49 crossed out and $149.99 due, Family $312.49 and $249.99.
- Monthly plans: $18.74 crossed out and $14.99 due for Individual, $19.99 for Couple, $29.99 for Family.
- The countdown: “Purchase in 5 minutes and 0 seconds to save 20% off your annual subscription.” When it ran out, the total stayed $99.99. Only the crossed-out price and the timer went away.
- Tax: no tax line, before or after the ZIP. The terms say charges include applicable taxes where required by law.
- Renewal and auto-renewal: neither printed.
- Payment methods: PayPal, and Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover through Stripe. A “Promo code?” link sits above the card form.
What’s in the plan (and what isn’t)
The pricing page lists one feature set for every plan on 10/16/2026:
| Included in every plan | Not included or limited |
|---|---|
| Data removal from a published list of 1,059 sites, 354 of them tagged data broker | Custom removal requests (not found on Cloaked’s pages) |
| Unlimited email and phone aliases | Custom domains for aliases (not found) |
| Instant spam and scam call protection (Call Guard) | Credit monitoring (not found) |
| Real-time sensitive data exposure alerts | Virtual cards: “invite only,” and they need an SSN |
| Identity theft insurance coverage, a VPN, a password manager | A free tier or trial |
Couple adds one person and Family three. You can’t remove a family member’s records on Individual, according to Cloaked’s help center.
How to cancel Cloaked
Cloaked’s help center gives these steps for card payments (updated 04/18/2026):
- Sign in at my.cloaked.com and open your subscription settings at my.cloaked.com/settings/subscription.
- Click “Cancel Subscription.”
- Click “Confirm” to finish.
In the mobile app it’s the profile icon, then “Settings,” then “Subscription,” then the cancel option. If you paid through PayPal, the App Store or Google Play, you cancel there, and the help center says subscriptions can’t move between platforms. I couldn’t reach the cancel screen, because I didn’t buy a plan.
After canceling, the account becomes read-only. Removals and scans stop, your identities stop working for calls and texts, and the $1M insurance ends.
Call Guard keeps forwarding calls until you turn it off yourself. Canceling doesn’t delete your account. Deletion is a separate two-stage step in Settings, Account.
Refund policy
The checkout says “Hassle free 30 day money back guarantee. Switch plans anytime.” The terms of service (effective 10/20/2025) say: “Charges paid by you are final and non-refundable, unless otherwise determined by Cloaked.” They add that prepaid amounts aren’t refunded when your account ends.
Accounts creating “50+ Cloaked identities” in 30 days don’t qualify for a refund at all, the terms say.
The help center says refund eligibility is in the terms and “All refund requests are reviewed manually by our support team.” Upgrading to Couple or Family refunds a prorated amount of the old plan. I didn’t request a refund, so I can’t say how one goes. This is not legal advice.
Other details for U.S. subscribers
What personal data they ask for — and how to delete it
Buying asks for a phone number, an email address or a username, a password, and a card or PayPal. Removals need your name, current and past addresses, birth date, emails and phone numbers, per the privacy policy (09/19/2026). Deleting the account: Settings, then Account, then “Delete account” starts a 30-day grace period, and “Permanently delete my account now” ends it at once.
Who can sign up (U.S. only, state limits, age)
Cloaked says it’s available in the U.S. and Canada. The insurance covers U.S. individuals only and may not be available everywhere. Disputes go to JAMS arbitration under Massachusetts law, per the terms. I couldn’t find a minimum age on Cloaked’s site on 10/16/2026.
Support: channels and hours (ET)
Email at support@cloaked.com, phone, and the Kit chat assistant. People answer Mon–Fri 9 a.m.–8 p.m. ET and Sat–Sun 9 a.m.–1 p.m. ET, per the privacy policy.
Our standard billing question went out by email on 10/16/2026 at 12:09 p.m. ET and had no reply when this page was written. The Cloaked review tracks the answer.
What we saw inside the account
I couldn’t open a test account on 10/16/2026: there’s no free plan or trial, and the free scan needs an SMS code. Billing details inside the account come from Cloaked’s help center.
Is Cloaked worth paying for?
Pay for Cloaked if you’ll use the aliases and the call screening as well as the removals, because every plan includes all three. At $99.99 a year at checkout on 10/16/2026, yearly billing beats monthly within seven months. Before you pay, know that the checkout names no renewal price, the countdown discount didn’t expire, and the 30-day refund line isn’t in the terms.
If you only want broker removals or only aliases, compare prices on Cloaked alternatives and the best secure email providers page.
